Vincenzo Franceschini (c1695 - c1770). Vincenzo Franceschini, born in Rome, was an Italian burin engraver and painter, mainly depicting landscapes with ruins and views around Naples. He trained with Anton Sminck van Pitloo, and formed part of the School of Posillipo. He was active in Florence between 1700 and 1740, where he engraved illustrations for the 1748 Museum Florentinum.
