Painter and illuminator, son of Bartolo di Fredi. He trained under his father, and his first documented work for the chapel of the UniversitÓ dei Calzolai in Siena Cathedal, was executed in collaboration with his father and Luca di TommŔ. His style can be seen, however, in the altarpieces that Bartolo di Fredi painted between 1380 and 1388.
