Lilian Westcott Hale was an American impressionist painter. Her father was Edward Gardner Westcott. She studied at the Hartford Art School, with Elizabeth Stevens. In 1899, she studied with William Merritt Chase, at Shinnecock, Long Island. She studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, with Edmund Tarbell.
