Dutch painter. He has often been referred to, probably incorrectly, as a pupil of Karel van Mander I. In 1620 the city of Haarlem bought Potís Glorification of William I (Haarlem, Frans Halsmus.), and his painting of the Deathbed of William I (1620; untraced) hung in the Delft Town Hall.
